2. Visiting the website

When you visit this website, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser identifier) in order to deliver the website and ensure its security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Cookies, statistics and local fonts

On your first visit, a cookie dialog asks which services you allow. We store your choice in the cookie “bm-consent” (60 days) and log it without your IP address under a random ID, so that the consent can be proven (Art. 7(1) GDPR). Only if you allow “Statistics” do we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to evaluate the use of the website statistically (cookies _ga and _ga_*, lifetime 2 months). Data may also be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, which you can withdraw at any time via the shield icon “Cookie settings” at the bottom left of every page. We do not use marketing cookies. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from third parties. If you switch the colour scheme (light/dark), this setting is stored exclusively locally in your browser.

4. Contact, order and trial forms

If you contact us via a form, order a licence or request trial access, we process your details (e.g. name, company, email, phone, message) in order to handle your enquiry or set up the trial access. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Logging in to the business manager

The “Log in” and “Reset password” pages embed the login screens of the business manager, which we operate ourselves in Germany. The data entered there is processed exclusively for logging in and providing the service.

6. YouTube videos

Videos are only loaded when you actively click “Play”. Only then is a connection established to YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). In the process, data may also be transferred to the USA. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by clicking.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

8. Data protection within the business manager
